Kaylee Bullen, LCSW
Licensed in California, Michigan & Louisiana
Hi, I’m Kaylee.
I am the owner and lead clinician at The Human Collective Therapy Group, a virtual therapy practice serving clients in California, Michigan, and Louisiana. Originally from Michigan, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan before pursuing a new adventure in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2018, I graduated with my Master of Social Work from Tulane University, and after gaining clinical experience in New Orleans, I relocated to San Diego, California, where I truly began to grow as a therapist. Today, I am excited to offer online therapy to clients across the three states, bringing a human-first, flexible, and collaborative approach to every session.
Outside of work, I am a wife, mother, and cat parent. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, cooking, and indulging in my guilty pleasures like TikTok, reality TV, and naps.
As a therapist, I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs, including:
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, phobias, and anxiety disorders
Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT) for OCD
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for a wide range of mental health concerns
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to support clients navigating relationship challenges and attachment-related concerns
I work primarily with adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with:
Anxiety and panic
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Depression
Postpartum (including postartum anxiety and OCD)
Complex family dynamics, including addiction-impacted families
Relationship and dating challenges
Grief and loss
Life transitions
Self-exploration and identity development
I am committed to ongoing professional growth and regularly pursue new trainings to ensure I am providing the most effective therapy possible. My goal is to help clients in California, Michigan, and Louisiana navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and practical tools, all in a supportive, online therapy setting that meets them where they are.
